Who is Archtop Fiber?
We are a brand-spankin’ new provider of multi-gig, fiber Internet and phone service. While the name is new, our experience runs deep. We have decades of experience building world-class broadband networks and have successfully partnered with countless communities to provide them with life-changing connectivity and unlimited tech-driven opportunities.
What Does Archtop Fiber Do?
Our mission is simple. We bring the fastest, most reliable, environmentally friendly and affordable Internet access to those who have traditionally been underserved — or even overlooked. We believe that no matter where you work or live, having reliable high-speed Internet is critical to empowering your day-to-day life. We bring the digital world to you, your community and its businesses, schools, libraries, hospitals, farms and community centers.
Headquartered in Kingston, New York, we are getting ready to break ground to bridge the digital divide across the Northeast, starting with New York’s Hudson Valley, a fiber-starved area shockingly only two hours away from The Big Apple.
Meet the Band
Archtop was formed by a team of well-known telecom thought leaders, former colleagues and long-time friends. In other words, the band has gotten back together. And the jam session has begun. Check out our rock-star team:
Jeff DeMond, Chairman & CEO
If Archtop really was a band, Jeff would be at the mic. Jeff oversees company operations and strategies, including the vision, mission and overall business growth. Self-described as a serial company founder and CEO, he is a proven leader in the telecommunications industry and has deep experience and expertise building and growing successful tech-driven businesses. Prior to Archtop, Jeff founded and served as President and CEO of Vyve Broadband, a broadband telecommunications company providing high-speed internet and data services.
Lenny Higgins, President & COO
Lenny is responsible for all day-to-day operations and planning. As a proven C-level executive in the cable television, technology and telecommunication industries, Lenny’s resume is full of achievements related to revenue growth, P&L management, operations and business development. Prior to Archtop, Lenny served as President and CEO of The Nexus Group, Inc., a tech company offering data center services, network connectivity, network security and voice solutions.
Shawn Beqaj, Chief Development Officer
Shawn is Archtop’s in-house phenom when it comes to all things public policy, regulatory, government communications and network construction and expansion. He has been an early proponent and thought leader with respect to the industry’s shift toward public/private partnerships and government funding programs. Prior to Archtop, Shawn served on the Senior Leadership Team at the Armstrong Group of Companies as Vice President, Regulatory & Interconnection.
Diane Quennoz, Chief Customer Officer
Self-described as “customer-obsessed,” Diane oversees customer experience strategies in addition to branding, marketing and communications at Archtop. With extensive experience and accomplishments in telecommunications and tech, she is passionate about challenging the status quo and infusing fun and freshness into the way Internet Service Providers go to market, grow their business and ensure customers’ voices are heard. Prior to this role, Diane was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience at Vyve Broadband.
